This morning, after a particularly hard weekend being sick and grieving over Robyn, we made our regular drive to Rainbow School...
Jackson: Mommy, why you so sad?
Mommy: Just one of those days.
Jackson: Moooommmmmyyyy...why you so saaad?
Mommy: I just need help to get through today.
Jackson: You need help?
Mommy: Yes, I need God to help me today.
Jackson: Where is He?
Mommy: He's all around, in Heaven, especially in your heart.
Jackson: Heaven is up there. (pointing up to the sky)
Mommy: Yes, Heaven is up there, but God is really close to you too. He's everywhere.
Jackson: I want to go see him up there.
Mommy: You will one day, He's so excited to have you come home to Heaven.
Jackson: I don't know how to get there.
Mommy: He will show you.
Jackson: Oh.
a few seconds pass...
Jackson: Mommy.
Mommy: Yes.
Jackson: He will show you too.

God comforted me through my precious three-year-old this morning:)
